“Nobunaga's Page”
Born into the great Mori family of Mino, he became Nobunaga's attendant while still young. Trusted for his wit and diligence, he was entrusted even with conveying official business. On the morning of Honnō-ji he stayed by Nobunaga's side and fought off the Akechi assault, but died with his brothers in the burning temple. He was only eighteen. His loyal death has been told and retold ever since.

- Tenshō 5 Nobunaga's Attendant Loved for his wit, he served close to Nobunaga's person.
- Tenshō 10 Death at Honnō-ji Resisted the Akechi at his lord's side and was killed at eighteen.
