Nakagawa Kiyohide
“Fierce Warrior of Settsu”
Lord of Ibaraki Castle in Settsu, a valiant commander who first followed Araki Murashige and, after Murashige's rebellion, Nobunaga and Hideyoshi. He fought in the vanguard at Yamazaki. At Shizugatake he held the fort on Mount Ōiwa, but Sakuma Morimasa's lightning assault caught him before relief could arrive, and he died fighting. His death opened the battle of Shizugatake.
