Ōtomo Yoshimune
Heir of Ōtomo Sōrin, whose power had spread over six provinces of Kyushu. He succeeded to the house, but was dispossessed for the Shimazu offensive and for his failures in the Korean campaign. In the year of Sekigahara he rose with Mōri support under the banner of recovering Bungo and landed at Beppu. But at Ishigakibaru he was beaten by Kuroda Josui's army, lost the brave Yoshihiro Muneyuki and surrendered. The revival of the great house of Ōtomo ended there. He spent the rest of his life in confinement and died in despair.

- Bunroku 2 Dispossession Censured for his failures in the Korean campaign, he lost his lands.
