Ashina Yoshihiro
Born the second son of Satake Yoshishige of Hitachi, he was adopted into the great Ashina house of Aizu, which had nearly died out after the death of Ashina Moritaka. But the Satake faction and the hereditary Ashina retainers were at odds, and the young head's authority never settled. In Tenshō 17, facing Date Masamune's invasion, he allowed the defection of Inawashiro Morikuni and gave battle at Suriagehara, where he was crushed. He lost many men at the Nippashi River, abandoned his seat at Kurokawa Castle and fled to his family in Hitachi. The Ashina, who had ruled Aizu for four hundred years, were finished as Sengoku daimyo. Yoshihiro later moved to Kakunodate in Dewa under the Satake and lived into the early Edo period.

Life
- Tenshō 15 Inheriting the Ashina Adopted from the Satake into the great Ashina house of Aizu and succeeded to it.
- Tenshō 17 Crushing Defeat at Suriagehara Beaten by Date Masamune, he lost Aizu and fled to his family the Satake.
- Tenshō 18 The End of the Ashina Hideyoshi's settlement of Ōshū brought no recovery of the old lands, and the Ashina vanished as daimyo.
- Kan'ei 8 Death Moved to Kakunodate in Dewa under the Satake and spent his last years there.
