Imagawa Yoshimoto
“The Finest Archer on the Tōkaidō”
Lord of the Tōkai region, ruling Suruga, Tōtōmi and Mikawa. With the strategist Taigen Sessai he put his administration and diplomacy in order and secured his rear with a three-way alliance with the Takeda and the Hōjō. Marching west with a great army, he was surprised by Oda Nobunaga at Okehazama, his headquarters was overrun and he was killed. His death transformed the map of Sengoku Japan.
