Takigawa Kazumasu
“One of the Four Oda Elders”
A commander of obscure origins, valued by Nobunaga as a marksman and master of intrigue, who rose to rank with Shibata, Niwa and Akechi among the elders. He led arquebusiers at Nagashino and was entrusted with the Kantō after the fall of the Takeda. But the news of Honnō-ji unsettled him; he was crushed by the Hōjō at Kanna River and withdrew. Losing his contest with Hideyoshi as well, he died in obscurity.

Life
- Eiroku 11 Conquest of Ise Pacified northern Ise and won the deadly struggle with the Nagashima Ikkō uprising.
- Tenshō 10 The Kantō Army Granted Kōzuke for his part in destroying the Takeda and entrusted with the Kantō.
- Tenshō 10 Defeat at Kanna River In the confusion after Honnō-ji he was crushed by the Hōjō and withdrew.
