Liu Bei
“Xuande”
Claiming descent from the Han imperial house, he swore brotherhood with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and raised troops. For years he had no land to call his own, but after winning Zhuge Liang he gained a foothold in Jing Province through the victory at Red Cliffs. He went on to pacify Yi Province, found Shu Han and take the imperial throne. But he was crushed at Yiling, where he had gone to avenge Guan Yu, and died at Baidicheng after entrusting his affairs to Zhuge Liang.

- Jian'an 13 Red Cliffs Allied with Wu to beat Cao Cao and won his first secure base.
- Zhangwu 1 Emperor of Shu Han Took the throne at Chengdu and founded Shu Han as heir to the legitimate Han line.
- Zhangwu 3 The Trust at Baidicheng After the defeat at Yiling he entrusted his heir to Zhuge Liang at Baidicheng and died.
